A classic theatrical adhesive, Spirit Gum is great for attaching prosthetic pieces to the skin, lace hairpieces, crepe wool, and more.
It’s a quick-drying, strong-hold adhesive. Easily remove Ben Nye Spirit Gum with the provided Spirit Gum Remover. The Combo Pack includes a 0.25 oz (7.25 ml) bottle of Spirit Gum and a 0.5 oz (14.5 ml) bottle of Spirit Gum Remover.
Apply Spirit Gum with a brush to clean, dry skin.
Tap with finger until “tacky”. You can apply a second layer for more adhesion.
Don’t over-tack because the gum rosin will lose its stickiness.
Press the piece you want to adhere into the tacky gum.
If edges come loose, gently pull away, add more gum, and lightly tap again for maximum adhesive.
For larger areas, such as when laying a beard, apply in sections.
Caution: Flammable. Keep away from children and use in a well-ventilated area. Do not apply to eyelashes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Avoid use on chemically treated hair and protect costumes during application.
Pour a small amount of Spirit Gum Remover into a mixing cup, or soak cotton pads in remover in anticipation for Spirit Gum removal. Practice patience while removing Spirit Gum as the oils in this remover need about a minute to effectively soak into the adhesive for seamless removal.
